Capital Lease Group Unveils New Asset Management System to Streamline Billing Processes for Customers

Recently, Capital Lease Group (CLG) announced that we have been working on developing a new asset management system to streamline the billing process for our customers. We are pleased to announce that we will begin rolling out the new asset management system beginning this month. Customers will start seeing changes to their monthly billing statements beginning on June 16, 2013.

The changes to our asset management system are designed to improve our customers’ overall experience and make accounting easier with regard to their leased equipment and vehicles.

Working with our Fleet Administrative contacts and their accounting departments, over the past few years, we have accumulated recommendations that focus on specific vehicle information – information that will be useful in identifying, tracking, and reordering vehicles for customers’ fleets. And these customer recommendations will be reflected in the changes and enhancements to our new billing system.

“We are excited about the changes to our asset management system and look forward to rolling it out for our customers. At Capital Lease Group, we are always looking for ways that we can help improve the experience of our customers and help them focus on their core business functions. It is our aim that our new asset management system will help simplify and streamline leasing and accounting processes for them,” said Al Lawrence, President of Capital Lease Group, about the company’s new asset management system.

Some of the key benefits of the new asset management system are:

  • Up-to-date tax rates, which will be updated as changes occur
  • The ability to clearly illustrate customer credits
  • The ability to break down fleets by division/cost center
  • CSV invoices, which can easily be converted into an Excel spreadsheet, allowing clients to import into their own accounting/ fleet management systems
  • Automatic electronic invoicing
  • New and improved invoices, which include
    • Vehicle Identification Number
    • Driver name or program name/number
    • PO number
    • Lease begin date
    • Lease end date
    • Months left on a lease
    • Year, make, and model of the vehicle
      • Unit number, including vehicle-specific outstanding balances
  • ACH capabilities

On individual invoices that take place during the month, the new program will allow for better understood and consistent descriptions.

Below please see some examples of the way new invoices will look under the new asset management system. Please feel free to contact Capital Lease Group with any questions or to learn more about the new system. There are more new developments to be announced in next month’s newsletter … please, stay tuned!
